Come to Jesus!

This song really means a lot to me. The first time i heard it was at one of my best friends dad's funeral. The video i found that this song goes along with is perfect. I love it. Let us all learn something from this song and the Prophet Thomas S. Monson. I know that Jesus does live. I know that he died for each of us on the cross. I know that he took upon him every pain, every sin, and every hardship that will we ever experience. Let us all remember our Savior Jesus Christ, and let us all Come to Him and live!

Lift Me Up

This song is amazing. And the video that goes along with it is very good. I am so thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is always there for us. He not only took upon himself our sins but he took every affliction, pain and everything we will experience. Who better to turn to in a time of need than our Savior. He is there is lift us up! I testify that is true!

Here are the lyrics to this song.

Every now and then I loose my way
I wander off the path
And I need someone to find me
oh, oh
When I think the pain is here to stay
And I might not make it back you remind me
I think its one of those mysteries we're not meant to figure out
You'll be there when I need you most I have no doubt

Chorus
Even when my thoughts are far from you, even when I wander from the truth
you are always there beside me, Yeah
Everytime I try to walk alone, thinking I could make it on my own
And I fall when I begin, you're there to lift me up again

It always happens right out of the blue, when I'm in my darkest hour
And it's feeling like forever
No, no
Something always makes me think of you
And I can feel your power more than ever
I think its one of those mysteries were not meant to figure out
You'll be there when I need you most I have no doubt, No

Chorus
Even when my thoughts are far from you
Even when I wander from the truth
You are always there beside me oh oh oh
Everytime I try and walk alone, thinking I could make it on my own
And I fall when I begin, you're there to lift me up again

Even when I'm barely hanging on
I am weightless in your love and my fear is gone

Chorus
Even when my thoughts are far from you
Even when I wander from the truth
You are always there beside me, oh oh oh
Everytime I try and walk alone, thinking I could make it on my own
And I fall when I begin, you're there to lift me up again, yeah

We Can Be Freed By The Atonement

This video is awesome. I love fishing and this video uses fishing as a parable. It compares the Fisherman to Lucifer. This video is from a talk given by M. Russell Ballard titled "O That Cunning Plan of the Evil One." I would like to share a few quotes from that talk.
"The use of artificial lures to fool and catch a fish is an example of the way Lucifer often tempts, deceives, and tries to ensnare us."
This is so true. Satan knows us very well and he knows how he can deceive us. He will do anything to catch us. But unlike a fisherman he will not just catch and release us and let us go unharmed. Satans goal is to make us miserable. Sometimes Satan does catch us, and it's up to us to get away. And that can be very tricky. We become addicted to a desire and it can be hard for us to overcome.
"If anyone who is addicted has a desire to overcome, then there is a way to spiritual freedom—a way to escape from bondage—a way that is proven. It begins with prayer—sincere, fervent, and constant communication with the Creator of our spirits and bodies, our Heavenly Father. It is the same principle in breaking a bad habit or repenting from sin of any kind. The formula for having our heart, our body, our mind, and our spirit transformed is found in the scriptures.
The prophet Mormon counseled us: “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love … ; that ye may become the sons of God; … that we may be purified even as he is pure” (Moroni 7:48)."
I bare my testimony that I know that this is true. I know that if we will pray and trust in God then we will make things better. I think of a scripture in Mosiah 24 that says the Lord will make our burdens light. But we have to pray and trust him.
"To those who are dealing with an addiction personally or within your family, I repeat, fervent prayer is key to gaining the spiritual strength to find peace and overcome an addictive craving. Heavenly Father loves all of His children, so thank Him and express sincere faith in Him. Ask Him for the strength to overcome the addiction you are experiencing. Set aside all pride and turn your life and your heart to Him. Ask to be filled with the power of Christ’s pure love. You may have to do this many times, but I testify to you that your body, mind, and spirit can be transformed, cleansed, and made whole, and you will be freed."
"And for those of you who have fallen prey to any kind of addiction, there is hope because God loves all of His children and because the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ makes all things possible."
I know that what M. Russell Ballard has said is true. I have used the power of the atonement in my life and I know it's real. Let us all be aware of satan and his deceiving ways in catching us. And if we do get caught, which we all will sometime in our lives, let us turn to our Father in Heaven and Jesus Chirst. They can help us through anything. I know that!!

Live Life to the Fullest!

This video is amazing. Jarem Frye is awesome. This man had a very hard trial thrown at him at a very young age. And he could of just sat back and let everyone feel bad for him and he could have just be miserable. But Jarem decided that he was going to Live Life to the Fullest. Let him be an example to all of us. We all go through hard times in our lives, but it's how we react to the hard times. God gives us trails to make us stronger and they are for our good. So when something like this happens to one of us, let us all remember Jarem's example and Live Life to the Fullest. Towards the end of this video Jarem says something I really like. It is "Things will be okay. God loves me. And he wants whats best for me. And he is mindful of all of us. And if we'll just trust him. We'll be alright! We'll be alright." That is so true. God knows everything. And all we have to do is trust him and everything will be alright. I bare my testimony that I know that God cares about each and every person in this world. And I know he wants what is best for us. We just need to trust him.

Learn from a humble woman's example how the power of prayer can work miracles in our lives. To learn more, read President Thomas S. Monson's address found here: http://bit.ly/4JOWUn
Prayer is amazing. I testify that God does hear and answer our prayers. This video shows how this womans prayer was answered. I know God is willing to help us we just need to ask him. There is a painting that shows Christ knocking at the door, and on the door is no handle. It's up to us to let Christ in. So let us all pray. And i know that as we pray with faith that God will answer our prayers and we will be blessed!

Acts Of Kindness!

I came across this video and it really touched me. It's amazing how much small acts of kindness can bless the lives of others. These boys, instead of hiding the boots, They put silver dollars in them. That is amazing. A dollar back then was alot of money. The small act of kindness from these boys, was an answer to this mans prayer. Sometimes in life, God puts us in situitions so that we can help others. Sometimes God uses his children to answer the prayers of his other children. I think this video is great. We can all learn something from it. As we go about our days we should look for oppurtunities to help others.

Good Things to Come!

In this wonderful Video Elder Jeffrey R. Holland recalls his days as a poor young father with a broken-down family car and testifies that for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, there are better days and good things to come. Sometimes in life we go through trails and hardships. Just like the people of Alma who were in bondage. And they were going through a very hard time. I love what Alma told his people. He said in Mosiah 23:21-22 "Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith. Nevertheless, whosoever putteth his trust in him the same shall be lifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with this people." So as we see in these 2 verses that the Lord with give us trails to test our patience. We learn from Doctrine and Covenants 122:7 that the Lord will give us trails but "all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good." So everything that the Lord gives us is not going to be easy. But it will give us experience. When we go through trails and we are able to over come then, we learn a lot. I know in my life that when i go through trails it is hard but when I make it through I am a much better person and its for my good. So when we are going through a hard time there is one thing we can always do. And that is turn to our Father in Heaven. We can always pray and ask for strength in everything we do. One of my favorite Quotes which hangs on my fridge at home is "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it." So this life isn't going to be easy but we need to remember there is always going to be good things to come. I know that this Gosple can bring happiness to everyone.
